Training on BQ software ‘Buildsoft’ organized by the Contract and Cost Committee was held on 15 August 2008 to introduce the application of ‘Buildsoft’ software for BQ preparation in accordance with the Civil Engineering Standard of Measurement (CESMM) requirements. The training was conducted at the SMHB Training Room by Mr. Chew Fu Keong from PCK Sales & Services, the software supplier.

The training started with brief description of the software and followed by demonstration of the software application by the trainer. The participants had also the opportunity to use the software hands-on during the training. Generally, the training was good and the participants have gained initial knowledge on the usage of ‘Buildsoft’ software for BQ preparation.
